Well folks, it turns out tennis balls are made to be a one-hit-wonder, just like my brief attempt at a music career! They are factory-pressed with air and sealed to keep the pressure consistent, hence, no need for a hole. If they did have a hole, they'd lose air more quickly and we'd spend more time pumping balls than hitting them!
